How to Customize

Start by selecting a design
Please note that we build using two types of wood (white oak and walnut) and each design has two nearly identical listings; one to be built using white oak (lots of color options) and one to be built using walnut (the color will be the natural color of the wood).

Next, select the width for the top that will work best for your space
38" is considered standard width and we make them as wide as 44". If you would like the width to be less than 38" please select 38" and write the requested width in the "Additional Notes" section when checking out. If you would like the table top to be greater than 38" but less than 44" please select 44" and write the requested width in the "Additional Notes" section when checking out. Additional guidance on choosing your ideal width here (FAQ "How do I know what size table to get?")

Select the length of the table top
We have made seating recommendations for each of the options to assist. Note that our recommendations are based on what we believe is ideal/comfortable for daily use and you can generally squeeze more people in on special occasions. Please also note that the available length options and recommended seating are unique from design to design. With your best interest in mind, we have limited the available size range for certain designs to be what we have found to work best for each. If you would like a specific length that is not listed but in between the available range, please select the length option that is just above your number and communicate your choice with us in the "Additional Notes" section when checking out. Additional guidance on choosing your ideal length here (FAQ "How do I know what size table to get?")

Several designs have an option for a coordinating bench
The length of the bench is directly tied to the length of the table (automatically) and will be built to maximize the available space between the table legs on one side of the table. For tables 120"+ the option changes to a set of two smaller benches for better functionality in a longer span.

Select your metal base color
Designs with metal bases have the option for the base to be painted either black or gold

Select designs have the option for breadboard ends
Breadboard ends are boards that run perpendicular on either end of the table top. Traditionally they were used to help stabilize table tops from warping but with modern advances and proper precautions taken it has become a mere choice of visual preference to have them or to go with boards running the full length end to end.

Select your color
Designs in white oak are available in nine color options. Five are considered standard options that are included in the pricing and the remaining four are multi-step finishes that are considered deluxe options. If selecting walnut as your wood choice the color is automatically set to be natural walnut.
